Amber Tamblyn has replaced Angus T. Jones on Two and a Half Men, where she play Jenny Harper, the illegitimate lesbian daughter of the late Charlie Harper (formerly played by Charlie "Winning" Sheen).
Tamblyn character will recur in at least five episodes during the show's eleventh season, with an option to become a series regular.
Jenny will enter the series looking for her dad at the home of Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher characters, Alan and Walden. If she a hit with viewers, the plan is to have her move in with the duo, filling the void left by Jake Harper (Jones).
Jones who departed the show after calling it "filth" and imploring viewers not to watch, is Pandora UK reportedly planning to attend university while also expressing an interest in forging a music career. (Good luck with that, mate.)
Show creator Chuck Lorre explained why he wanted to add a woman to the mix. "I think it would be great to have a voice on the show from a different perspective," said Lorre. "The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime."
"Part of the fun in this has been creating a character that is equal to the task of stepping on the stage with Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher. That's a big job," Lorre added. "The idea of the character brings a healthy amount of decadence, which is always fun on Two and a Half Men."
Tamblyn, who married to Arrested Development's David Cross, is best known for her starring roles in Joan of Arcadia and House, as well as appearing in the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants movies.

Onlookers said that Shafrazi railed: "Why didn you call me back? What the fk is wrong with you? You are on my time, you are not on Hollywood time. It is so disrespectful."
Fed up, Wilson who was said to be eating a dandelion and heirloom tomato salad apparently screamed, "Go fk yourself," and stormed off.
Shafrazi later told The New York Post it was all a big "misunderstanding." He said, "After a long day work, I ended up at the wrong restaurant.
